Fuel pump is a technical term in the auto parts industry. Fuel pump, is located at the bottom of the vehicle, the fuel from the fuel tank suction, pressurized after delivery to the fuel supply pipe and engine combustion chamber used device, working with the fuel pressure regulator to produce a certain fuel pressure, is one of the basic components of the fuel injection system of electric injection vehicle. Located inside the vehicle fuel tank, the fuel pump works during startup and engine operation. If the engine stops and the ignition switch is still ON, the HFM-SFI control module turns off the power to the fuel pump to avoid accidental ignition. The function of the fuel pump is to suck out the fuel from the fuel tank, pressurize the fuel to the supply pipe, and the fuel pressure regulator with a certain fuel pressure.

The fuel pump consists of an electric motor, a pressure limiter, and an inspection valve. The electric motor actually works in the fuel oil inside the oil pump housing. The fuel oil lubricates and cools the fuel motor. The inspection valve is arranged at the oil outlet, and the pressure limiter is located at the pressure side of the oil pump housing, with a passage leading to the oil inlet
